Protective Twins Ouran Host Club X Yuji Reader

(Y/n) paced around the penthouse, with eyebags evident under his eyes. Ever since Sukuna left, he had not gotten an ounce of sleep. He doesn't even know where his brother went! When Megumi woke up, he found (Y/n) still pacing around anxiously. "You need to sleep (Y/n)," Megumi said, looking at his friend in sympathy.

"But Sukuna isn't back yet, what if he got lost? Or traffic? Maybe he ran away because I'm a bad brother?" (Y/n) asked frantically, making zero sense. It was already morning and the storm was gone, making (Y/n) all the more worried. "What if he doesn't come back? What if he hates me? Where would he go? Am I a bad brother? Did I fuck up?" (Y/n) continued to ask as he gripped his hair.

Megumi frowns at (Y/n)'s worries and then leads him to sit down on the couch. "I know my boyfriend by now, he would never ever hate you," Megumi said seriously. Quite frankly he's shocked that (Y/n) would ever think Sukuna could turn his back to him. "But you don't understand, I did something really, really, really, bad," (Y/n) said as he stood back up, too fidgety to stay still.

Megumi sighed, shaking his head. "I'm certain Sukuna is trying to find a way to fix your mess, which was stupid on your part," Megumi said, blunt. "And not even just him, what the hell would Nobara and I do when you suddenly vanished? Moving abroad without even discussing this with us."

"You heard all that?" (Y/n) asked nervously. Megumi shakes his head and holds out (Y/n)'s phone. "Sukuna was in a rush, couldn't exactly get a clear answer, but after reading your messages between your parents I got the idea," he explains. Because like hell (Y/n) would tell the truth if Megumi asked him for it. Still, Megumi feels bad he had to resort to going through (Y/n)'s personal messages. Plus with other factors, Megumi's sharp mind pieced together what was going on.

"I'm sorry... I just– Sukuna is doing so much for me! I thought... I thought taking on this burden for him would make him happy," (Y/n) said as he sat back down, looking frustrated. "My parents were going to ship Sukuna away, and I know how happy Sukuna is here. I figured if I went, it would make things better," he mumbled. Megumi hit (Y/n) on the head. "That wouldn't make anyone happy!" Megumi said, now frustrated.

"Why not? Sukuna has every right to be here as I do! He was planning on doing this for me, why is it different if I do the same for him?!" (Y/n) argued as he looked at Megumi in despair. "Because!" Megumi struggles to put it into words. "Because you make everyone here happy (Y/n), Sukuna knows you won't be happy there alone on the other side of the world," Megumi's angry voice turns into a soft tone. "Sukuna's protective of you because you're practically one of the best things in this world and if something were to happen to you he would never forgive himself. None of us would."

"But Sukuna makes everyone happy too! Doesn't he matter too? I understand he wants to protect me and I'm trying to protect him too, is that so wrong?" (Y/n) asked as he looked down at his hands. Megumi walks up to (Y/n) and kneels in front of him. "Of course, it's not wrong, and he does matter," Megumi said, sighing. "But you went about this so wrong, and practically illegal. If someone over there was to find out you would be jailed and we would be stuck over here, unable to bail you out."

"Really?" (Y/n) asked with a look of horror, he didn't want to go to jail. "Yes really, they would think you stole Sukuna's identity," Megumi said, frowning. "And what would happen if Sukuna tried to find work here under his name? It would be in the system that Itadori Sukuna was across the sea and they would think Sukuna stole his own identity."

"I didn't think about that..." (Y/n) muttered, having not realized it was that bad. Megumi sits beside him, glad that it's going through (Y/n)'s thick skull to see how bad this whole situation is. "Yeah...it's pretty bad, I think that's why he was in a hurry to fix this whole mess," Megumi mutters. "I wouldn't worry about it too much, Sukuna is capable of anything and when it comes to you, he will make sure things are set right."

"Well... Issue is... I may or may not have signed a contract," (Y/n) said with a sheepish smile. Megumi stared at (Y/n), now feeling the anger rising. Before he could get angry and blow up, Megumi's phone rings. He answers it and he hears a sigh on the other end of the line. "Blessing, you there?" Sukuna's voice comes through.

"Is that Sukuna? Is he alright?" (Y/n) asked loudly, his voice easily heard over the other end. "Shush, let me talk to him," Megumi hissed as he leaned away from (Y/n). "Yeah, it's me, are you alright?" He asked Sukuna. Sukuna was quiet for a few moments until Megumi could hear a huff on the other end of the line. Sukuna was smoking to deal with the stress. "It's a mess, but Satoru's lawyers think they can get the contract voided," Sukuna mutters as he takes another puff of the cigar.

"That's good– Wait, are you smoking? I thought I told you to quit that habit," Megumi said with a frown. Megumi can hear a shuffle on the other side. "Yeah, yeah I know, don't bite my head off I only had three cigarettes," Sukuna mumbles. "I'll stay off them for good this time."

"You better, you know how much I don't like those things. They hurt your health," Megumi lectured him. Megumi was worried though, things must've been bad if Sukuna had gone back to smoking. "Does Sukuna hate me? Tell him I'm sorry," (Y/n) said, sounding guilty. "He doesn't hate you, quit thinking that," Megumi scolded (Y/n).

"I should be back soon... can (Y/n) hear me?" Sukuna asked, frowning. "Barely, I doubt he'd remember either. He's beyond tired, been up all night waiting for you," Megumi said as he let out a sigh. Megumi can hear other voices on Sukuna's side and his boyfriend lets out an angry huff. "I have to go but can you hand (Y/n) the phone real quick?" Sukuna asked.

"Yeah, sure," Megumi said as he shuffled a little. "Sukuna? Are you there? Are you alright? You're not angry, right? Are you held hostage? Are you coming back?" (Y/n) instantly bombarded Sukuna with questions. "Stop," Sukuna said, in a tired voice. (Y/n) quieted down as Sukuna sighed. "I don't hate you, angry yes. No, I'm not being held hostage. I'll be back soon okay?" Sukuna answered almost all of (Y/n)'s questions.

"Okay... And brother? I'm really sorry," (Y/n) said in a soft tone. "We'll talk later," Sukuna reassured his twin. With that, Sukuna hangs up. "Well, when do you want to get this trial done?" Satoru asked as he lay upside down on the couch. Sukuna, Geto, and Satoru were in some building Sukuna could care less about. He has to face his angry parents as they need to be there to deal with this false signature mess.

"As soon as possible," Sukuna grumbles, pulling out another cigarette. He made a mental apology to Megumi, but this is probably the most stressful he's been. "There's their car, are you ready?" Geto asked as he stared out the window, watching as the two adults headed to the building. Angry expressions on their faces, as Sukuna watches them walk in as he lights the cigarette. "(Y/n) and I are getting disowned soon, aren't we?" Sukuna asked his friends.

"Can't, unless they want my company to quit sponsoring theirs. They know better than to lose their means of wealth," Satoru chirped as he got up and turned himself around to sit somewhat properly. Geto hums as he plays on his phone. "It's amazing how much power you have, Satoru, it's a little scary," Geto hums in delight. "You make sure your two friends are fine and if not their parents lose everything."

"Precisely, I would've done this much sooner, but then that would fall on my precious sons," Satoru whined as he leaned backward. Sukun puffs out a cloud of smoke and turns to Satoru. "I probably owe you 1,000 years of debt, how the hell did I get so lucky to have you by my side?" Sukuna asked.

"I liked you and your twin more than that Ootari group," Satoru answered with a shrug. "Those assholes don't hold a chance against you two," he grumbled, remembering the pathetic interaction. His memory was cut off when Jin and Kaori burst through the door. "What the hell is this?!" Jin asked in a demanding tone as he slapped down a paper claiming Sukuna was suing them. "That, my friends, is called legal documentation!" Satoru chirps as he stands up.

He walks to Sukuna and swings an arm over Sukuna's shoulder. "My friend here didn't sign any document saying he was going abroad and yet you two knew that. That's what we call fraud in this country." Sukuna rolls his eyes but doesn't stop Satoru. "This again, we don't care which twin goes abroad. If you want to keep that one, then keep him," Jin huffed as he glared at Satoru.

Satoru made a disagreed hum. "You see that's a problem, if my dear lovely baby boy (Y/n) went in Sukuna's place it would cause a lot of trouble. (Y/n) did sign the contract with Sukuna's name, thus making the document worthless!" Satoru then laughed. "I mean what were you going to do? Ship one son off in hopes it's the right one? Sounds like child negligence and abandonment to me!"

"Why do you suddenly care?" Kaori asked with crossed arms. "That's not the point, you are not shipping either twins abroad," Geto answered as he glared at her. "And who are you? Last I checked, I didn't ask a commoner," Kaori spat hatfully. Sukuna stands in front of Geto, glaring at her. "Watch your words carefully Mother," Sukuna warns her. Yes, Geto doesn't need his protection, but it's instinct to Sukuna.

"One of you is going abroad whether you both like it or not. We created you both for a reason," Jin growled, bringing back the conversation. Satoru made a fake pity look. "Mm, that's not happening," Satoru said, giving a fake sad frown. "It would be a shame if my father were to suddenly cut business ties with you people," Satoru threatens with a smirk.

"You wouldn't dare!" Kaori exclaimed as she slammed her hands on the table. "I wouldn't?" Satoru asked, smirking. "I wonder what would happen if your company was investigated and there was a sudden embezzlement issue." Jin held his hand up to Kaori, pushing her back to stop her from making things worse.

"I know you and my sons are friends, you would risk their home and support for this?" Jin asked calmly. Satoru's blue eyes have a sudden sadistic glint. "I believe they would be happy staying with me, if by any chance their lovely parents ended up in an accident," Satoru said, grinning at them. Geto gives Satoru a 'really?' look. "You wouldn't..." Kaori mutters in disbelief then turns to Sukuna. Sukuna is sitting there smoking his cigarette with a blank expression.

"You would lose us over this?!" She asked him. Sukuna puts the cigarette out on one of the hard surfaces. "Losing you two would be bliss for me," Sukuna responds coldly. "You ungrateful–" "Kaori, don't," Jin stopped her, as he needed to be the voice of reason. "What do you want?" Jin asked with a serious look as he stared at Sukuna and Satoru. "Quite frankly I want you two to disappear from our lives," Sukuna said, smirking.

"But (Y/n) and I are not being shipped abroad. Find some other prodigy to run your company but it's not going to be either of us," he ordered sternly. Jin and Karoi looked at each other, Jin held up a finger and the two started whispering to each other. Satoru gets up and ushers Sukuna and Geto to a corner. "What?" Sukuna asked, annoyed. "They're whispering, we should too," Satoru whispers to them. Sukuna and Geto deadpan at Satoru. "Want to make bets on what they decide?" Geto asked casually.

"If they don't want to end up in a car accident they will give Sukuna what he wants," Satoru said, a bit loudly. "How much do you bet on that?" Geto asked with a smirk. "I bet 50 that they fuck up and try disowning you and (Y/n)," he said confidently. "I bet 75 that they're smart and go along with the deal," Sukuna mutters.

"And I bet 10,000$ with Geto, I want to raise my two lovely sons!" Satoru said, excitedly. Sukuna hopes to god his parents take the deal. "10k? Seriously?" Geto asked with a raised brow. Satoru nods, smiling. "As serious as my undying love for you Geto!" Satoru said, batting his eyes at Geto. "Damn he's serious," Sukuna mutters, lighting a fifth cigarette.

"Egh, no thanks," Geto said with a look of disgust. Satoru made a dying sound as Geto rejected his love. "We've decided," Jin announced, gaining the group's attention. "We will go along with your terms and nullify the document," he grumbled, looking unhappy with this decision. Not like they had much of a choice. Sukuna doesn't react to his parents. "Nice doing business with you!" Satoru chirps.

"Now you owe Sukuna 10,000 bucks," Geto reminded Satoru. Satoru's smile is completely wiped off into a look of shock. He lost the bet?! The money isn't the issue it's the fact that he lost! He was so distraught, that he didn't realize Sukuna's parents had left. "I lost?!" Satoru wails as he falls to his knees. Sukuna smirks, now he has enough money to buy a new phone.

"Idiot," Geto said as he shook his head and handed Sukuna 50 bucks. Sukuna smirks as he pockets the fifty dollars and Satoru writes a check with tears running down his face. "Take my money!" Satoru cried as he shakily held out the check. When Sukuna took the check, he burst into sobs. "I lost! This is not fair! I trusted you Geto!!" Satoru cried dramatically.

"Quit whining already, and tell your driver to get Sukuna back to (Y/n)," Geto said as he stared at Satoru with a blank look. Sukuna's eyes widen when he stinks of cigarettes. Goddammit Megumi will know he had more than three cigarettes. "Quick how bad do I smell?" Sukuna asked Geto. Before Geto could smell him, Satoru got up and close to Sukuna's neck, sniffing him real loud.

"What the hell?!" Sukuna yells, shoving Satoru back. "Egh! You smell like shit!" Satoru gagged as he backed away, covering his nose. "Goddammit," Sukuna hissed. He knows he will get an earful when he sees Megumi. "You should probably take a shower, hopefully, that'll get rid of some of the smoke," Geto advised Sukuna.

It's been hours since Megumi and (Y/n) heard from Sukuna. Once again (Y/n) was pacing around, now wondering if Sukuna was coming up with ideas to beat him up for this mess. "If you pace any more you'll create a dent in the floor," Megumi tells him. "But what if this is my last time being able to use my legs?!" (Y/n) argued as he continued to pace. Megumi sighed, leaning against the sofa. "He's not going to hurt you...much," Megumi adds lastly.

Just then they hear a car door shut outside. Instantly, (Y/n) ran off, most likely to hide somewhere in the penthouse from Sukuna. There were a few knocks on the door which prompted Megumi to get up and open the door. Sukuna stands on the other side and instantly the smell of smoke hits Megumi's nose.

"Didn't you say you only had three cigarettes?" Megumi asked with crossed arms, not looking pleased. Sukuna sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Sorry, I'm sorry, I had to face my so-called parents in some legal meeting," Sukuna mutters. "If that's so, then you wouldn't mind handing over the pack," Megumi said with his hand held out. Sukuna looks disappointed, but he reaches into his back pocket to hand his boyfriend one pack.

"All of them," Megumi demanded with a stern look. Sukuna grumbles under his breath and he reaches behind him to pull out four packs and drop them in Megumi's hands. "Hands up," Megumi ordered as he pocketed the packets. "Really? Does this mean you want me to press my hands against the wall with my ass out?" Sukuna asked, raising a brow.

"I won't ask again," Megumi said sternly, not playing with Sukuna. Sighing, Sukuna raises his hands and lets Megumi pat him down. Once satisfied, Megumi stepped away from Sukuna. "(Y/n) is hiding somewhere. He hasn't gotten any sleep since you left. Knowing him, he probably fell asleep in his hiding spot," Megumi grumbled. Sukuna nods and immediately walks to a room, one room he knows (Y/n) is hiding in.

He knows (Y/n) like the back of his hand. He enters the guest bedroom and walks to the bed. He kneels down and sees (Y/n) trying to squish himself under the bed to hide. Surprisingly, he was still awake. "Uhm... I'm a figment of your imagination?" (Y/n) whispered with a nervous smile. Sukuna looks unimpressed and stands up. "Get out of there (Y/n)," Sukuna mutters, having his arms crossed against his chest.

"Okay..." (Y/n) muttered as he shuffled out from under the bed. Sukuna remains quiet, unsure of what to say to his twin. The anger subsided and now there was disappointment, along with the sense of failure to keep (Y/n) safe and happy. Did Sukuna do something wrong? Did he show a weak side that (Y/n) witnessed and decided to do this whole terrible ordeal?

"Before you beat me to death, I wanna say I'm sorry... For, you know... Signing myself under your name. I didn't know you'd be placed under fraudulence," (Y/n) apologized as he looked down in guilt. Sukuna remained quiet until he punched (Y/n) in the chest. "What the hell were you thinking?!" Sukuna hissed angerily. "Didn't you say we were supposed to sort this shit together? Was that a lie to get me off your back or something?"

"What? No! Also, I said I'd help you sort it out and be a better brother. So, I was trying to help," (Y/n) argued, looking a bit hurt that Sukuna thought that. "So separating us is the best way?! That was the whole point, (Y/n), to stay together!" Sukunan exclaimed. "But they were threatening to ship you either way! I didn't know what to do!" (Y/n) yelled back.

"You always said how you would be the founder of the company just so I could have a future. I thought that it wasn't fair you were risking your future for mine, and I wanted to do something about it. When mom and dad told me they were sending you abroad I panicked," he explained as tears formed in his eyes. Sukuna continues to glare at (Y/n) until he brings his twin into a bone-crushing hug. "You fucking brat," Sukuna mutters as he hugs (Y/n) tightly.

"Wha-? You're not going to kill me?" (Y/n) asked, sounding confused and a bit out of breath from the tight hug. "I'll kick your ass later but do you know how scared I was?" Sukuna asked, pulling back from the hug. "I lost my mind when I saw the shit you pulled, and for once I felt helpless because it seemed like I failed you," Sukuna spoke angrily.

"You never failed me? I made this choice on my own, so this was my own fault," (Y/n) muttered as he hugged Sukuna back. Sukuna hugs him for a moment longer then pulls back to flick his forehead. "Now Megumi told me you didn't sleep, get your ass to bed. I took care of everything, neither of us is getting sent abroad," Sukuna tells (Y/n) as he leads the younger twin to bed.

"But I'm not that tired, also, you handled everything? Like everything, everything? How?" (Y/n) asked as he stumbled towards the bed. "I'll tell you later, you may not be tired but I've been up all night," Sukuna grumbles, holding his head in his hand. "You have? Also... Why do you smell funny?" (Y/n) asked as he sniffed Sukuna. Sukuna leans back, trying to avoid admitting he started his destructive habit. "No reason, I need a shower," Sukuna mumbled, heading to grab clothes.

"Now who's the one lying," (Y/n) grumbled as he stumbled over to the bed and flopped down onto it. After Sukuna's shower it's the first time in a while it felt like he was hit by a truck. Everything that happened comes crashing down and it feels like someone is taking cement blocks on his shoulders, lifting them off, and then putting them back on his shoulders. He walks around the penthouse like a zombie and smoking doesn't help either. He's stuck in limbo to stay away from the cigarettes or caving to smoke again.

He stumbles to Megumi's room and enters, his feet dragging under him and his shoulders sagging. "Sukuna?" Megumi asked as he so happened to be in the room, checking to see if the place had any books to read. "You look like shit, here, sit down," Megumi said as he ushered Sukuna to the bed. The moment Sukuna sat down he pushed Megumi on the bed and lay on him. Sukuna hugs Megumi tightly, burying his face into his chest.

All he wanted was to be held right now. Megumi went silent as he hugged Sukuna, rubbing his hands along Sukuna's back. "Do you want to talk about it?" Megumi asked in a hushed tone. Sukuna shakes his head no, he doesn't even know where to start. He just needs his rock to hold him. Time passed and Sukuna fell asleep on Megumi, who was going through his phone.

Megumi never stopped comforting Sukuna, rubbing his back in a soothing manner. Megumi looks up when he hears soft knocks and the door slightly opens. (Y/n) peeks his head into the room. Megumi pressed a finger to his lips to let (Y/n) know Sukuna's sleeping. (Y/n) silently crept into the room, doing his best to be quiet. "Is he... Yah know... Doing alright?" (Y/n) asked in a hushed tone. Megumi sighed softly and shook his head no.

"No...he smoked again," Megumi whispers back. "So that's why he smelled funny..." (Y/n) muttered as he looked down in guilt. "I'm a horrible brother," he said, feeling disappointed in himself. Megumi shakes his head no and pats a spot on the bed for (Y/n) to join them. It's clear the twins are hurt from this experience, what a great start to the summer vacation.

(Y/n) hesitantly sat next to Megumi, still looking guilty. "I royally fucked up," (Y/n) admitted as he lowered his head. "And once again, Sukuna is there to help me, when he shouldn't have," he mumbled. "Don't beat yourself up too hard," Megumi mumbles as Sukuna shifts in his arm. Sukuna was still asleep. "Honestly if your parents were decent people you two wouldn't be in this situation," Megumi mutters with a frown.

"No, the issue is, I've been neglecting to be a good brother. Sukuna is always there for me and this once, just this once, I thought I could return the favor! But, what did I do? I fucked it all up!" (Y/n) exclaimed a bit loudly as he gripped his face. "You messed up, but everything worked out in the end," Megumi argues while trying to calm (Y/n). "If you weren't a good brother Sukuna would still look out for you, he does it because he loves you, (Y/n). He protects us because he loves us so much."

"Maybe I don't deserve his love..." (Y/n) mumbled as he dropped his hands to his lap. "Say that shit again and I'll beat your ass right here," Sukuna's voice hisses. (Y/n) looks towards the voice to see Sukuna glaring at him. "Eep! Sukuna! You're awake!" (Y/n) squeaked as he jumped off the bed. Sukuna slowly sits up from Megumi's arms. "Yes I'm awake, your yelling woke me up," Sukuna said, sighing.

"Sorry, I can uhm... Leave," (Y/n) said as he gestured to the door. Sukuna glares at (Y/n). "Why? So your negative thoughts can fester? You're staying with us tonight," Sukuna orders. "But–" "Sit down," Megumi demanded, refusing to let (Y/n) argue his way out. "Okay," (Y/n) muttered as he sat back down on the bed. Sukuna stretches, popping his bones. There was an awkward silence until Sukuna said, "Satoru lost a bet and gave me 10,000 dollars."

"Bet? On what?" (Y/n) asked curiously. "He did not seriously bet 10k on a bet," Megumi said, deadpanning at Sukuna. Sukuna smirked As he lay back on the bed. "Yes he did, the bet was seeing if our parents would fall for Satoru's threat and I was right. The bet was to see if they would leave (Y/n) and I alone for now," Sukuna explains.

"They actually agreed to that?" (Y/n) asked with a look of surprise. "Why do you make idiots out of friends?" Megumi asked as he hid his face in his hand. Sukuna chuckled as he yawned. "Those idiot friends of mine saved my ass more times than I like to admit and yes (Y/n) our parents actually agreed to that." He just won't tell his boyfriend and twin that Satoru basically threatened to kill them.

"I know, but seriously 10k is stupid for a bet like that," Megumi grumbled, not really understanding rich people's thought process. "I guess I have to thank Satoru somehow," (Y/n) muttered as he scratched at his chin. "I would say hug him but he'll take the chance to kidnap you," Sukuna mutters, feeling his eyelids grow heavy. "You should go back to sleep, you too (Y/n), you both are tired," Megumi said as pushed Sukuna to lay back down on him.

"I am, I originally got up to get water. I'll leave you two alone now," (Y/n) said as he stood up. Sukuna looks unsure if he wants (Y/n) to go and be alone in such a vulnerable state of mind. "You can stay," Sukuna offered, trying to be less demanding and try the gentle approach. "It's fine, I bothered you enough," (Y/n) assured as he headed for the door.

"No, you need sleep, I'll get you water," Megumi said as he moved Sukuna to the bed in order to stand up. "But I'll just stress Sukuna out more, right, brother?" (Y/n) asked, looking to Sukuna for help. "Get your ass in bed, (Y/n)," Sukuna said, immediately. (Y/n) visibly deflated in defeat and dragged himself back to the bed, again, and plopped down next to his brother.

"You two sleep, and (Y/n), do not leave this room, I'll be back with water. Sukuna, do you want anything to drink?" Megumi asked as he headed for the door. "I'm fine, just don't be gone too long," Sukuna said with a grateful smile. Megumi nodded and headed off to get (Y/n) some water.
